We Need to Prioritize Feeding Our Citizens
When the Floyd County Library Board tried to close the Community Corner food bank, which serves 300 people each month, the community spoke up and pushed back. Their efforts helped keep this vital resource available while a new location is considered.
For many families, food banks are a lifeline. Working parents, seniors on fixed incomes, and children across Southern Indiana depend on these services to get by.
Closing a food bank doesn't eliminate hunger. It only makes it harder for people to get the help they need.
When I get to Washington, I will fight to protect funding for local food programs and make sure our communities have the resources they need.
You deserve better. Vote Brad Meyer for Congress!
