Compared to other countries, we die 8 years earlier

Canadians live longer than Americans, yet we continue to cling to a healthcare system that puts profits before patients. Canada’s universal healthcare system helps ensure people can get care without worrying about medical bills, while Americans delay treatment, struggle with medical debt, and lose precious years of their lives. We are sacrificing our health and longevity to protect insurance company profits. I believe it’s time for Medicare for All, because our lives should matter more than corporate profits.
